I’m jumping into the 1880s with the Grooms with Honor series.
The theme of this new historical romance series, featuring young men from Clear Creek, Kansas, is based on these wedding vow words.
Will you love her, comfort her, honor and keep her, in sickness and in health; and forsaking all others, be faithful unto her as long as you both shall live?
The men have heard Pastor Reagan say these words to many couples over the years, and they vow to treat all women this way as they walk through life. Besides Pastor’s and Kaitlyn’s six sons, the series will feature other men in their community.
Nolan’s Vow, now available on Amazon, is part of the Montana Sky Kindle Worlds, released Dec. 15th. Nolan Clancy is the grandson of Dan and Edna Clancy, who run the Clancy Cafe in Clear Creek, Kansas. He’ll meet with Holly Brandt in Montana before heading home to Kansas. (Note: this story isn’t available in paperback due to being in a Kindle World.)
Elof’s Mission, released March 16th, is part of the Montana Sky Kindle Worlds. Elof Lundahl, a Fort Ellis soldier friend of Nolan Clancy, delivers a grave marker to the Morgan’s Crossing, Montana Territory cemetery before he travels on to Kansas.
Linnea Meyer, a mail-order bride, is at the same cemetery burying her husband of eight days. Elof helps Linnea and her six-year-old stepson make a new life in Kansas, while falling in love with both.
Angus’ Trust is about Pastor and Kaitlyn Reagan’s oldest son, Angus Reagan, who’s always had a crush on Daisy Clancy, Nolan’s sister. I don’t have a release date for it yet, but it will be late March 2017.
The series will continue with Fergus’ Honor, Mack’s Care, Cullen’s Love, Seth’s Promise and Tully’s Faith.…all featuring honorable men, looking for love. There are some lucky women in their future!
